Hi, my name is Hayley, and have been childminding for over 14 years. I am an Ofsted registered childminder and have been CRB checked. In my last 4 Ofsted inspections I have received a 'GOOD' grading and my latest one can be viewed on: www.ofsted.gov.uk
I can offer the government funded hours from the term after the child's 2nd or 3rd birthday.
I hold a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People's Workforce, Paediatric First Aid certificate and I have also attended other courses to make sure that my Child Protection, EYFS, Food Safety, Speech and Language & other childminding related topics are kept up to date.
My husband's name is Andrew (he is also CRB checked), we have 2 daughters Hollie & Rubie, a cat called Pippin and a small dog called Monty who often joins us on our trips. The small numbers of children I care for means they receive lots of individual attention whilst enjoying and interacting with other children of various ages. I encourage new experiences and a sense of fair play whilst building self-confidence, all within a loving environment.
I feel it is important for children to spend time outside to exercise, be healthy and to have fun together. We have an enclosed back garden, which is home to a trampoline, playhouse, slide, footballs, chalk board and ride ons. We also go on outings to the park, beach, farms, toddler groups and soft play centres.
I believe that all children deserve and have the right to love and affection and therefore I will always put the children's needs first.
The children in my care have a big influence on the sorts of activities we do, my setting is very much child led with the guidance of the EYFS. I carry out ongoing observations on the under 5's which I will share with you on a regular basis. Below are some of the activities we do:
I will set a termly theme which I will incorporate into my everyday routine, such as different seasons, colours, homes, animals, mini beasts & different religious festivals.
As a member of the local Worthing Magic Minders group we meet up to provide children with a wider circle of friends and lots of stimulating activities to aid development, whilst supporting childminders with training and new ideas.
I hope your child will be incredibly happy here and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to speak to me.
